HOW TO BREW A CUP OF TEA


Brewing tea is a simple process, but each step must be respected

The best cup of tea is brewed from whole, loose leaves.  Respecting each step is key to brewing the perfect cup of tea.

  1. Bring fesh cold water to a boil
  2. Remove from heat.
  3. Fill a teapot with very hot tap water to warm it up.
  4. Empty the pot and add one teaspoon of tea leaves for each cup you are brewing.
  5. Fill the pot with boiled water and let it stand for 3 minutes if you are brewing small-leaf black tea or green tea,  5 minutes for full-leaf black tea and up to 10 minutes for oolong tea.
  6. Using a strainer, pour the tea in the cup.
  7. Be careful not to steep to long since the tea can become bitter.
