This three-layer kitchen knife uses VG-10 stainless steel as the inner core and SUS410 grade stainless steel as its exterior, which provides excellent corrosion resistance.
The blade is hardened to HRC 59-60 and has a chrome hammered, polished mirror finish and is sharpened to a precise cutting edge.
Very unique for a Japanese knife, the Hammered series is has a contoured black POM (polyacetal resin) handle allowing it to be moulded into an ergonomic design, that is long-lasting, comfortable and practical to hold.
