The construction of the Japanese steel blade was inspired by centuries-old manufacturing techniques favored by traditional Japanese craftsmen and samurai sword makers, creating an incredibly sharp edge that maintains greater edge retention. The blades are ice-hardened, ensuring superior strength and durability.
• Japanese iD3® steel has been extracted from the same region of Chuo-Ku Chiba in Japan since the middle of the last century. Each knife in the iD3® range has been designed and tested to meet Rockwell 53 specifications, guaranteeing blade hardness and optimal performance.
• The MicroDot® technology by Cuisine::pro® is exclusively used in the iD3® knife range. MicroDot® technology is evident on the knife handles and is used to relieve the main pressure points of your hands, ensuring complete control and precision during slicing.
